The Ripple Effect

Throw a pebble into still water and you’ll see a beautiful phenomenon unfold: the ripple effect.

One pebble displaces the water it strikes. Which displaces the water next to it.

And the water next to that.

As an artist, I feel like sharing my creations is akin to tossing a pebble in a pond. I get to enjoy the first wave of energy – and someone else gets to enjoy the next. And someone else gets to enjoy the next. And so on and so forth.

When I initially published this blog I thought I was sharing my art to a vacuum. I was throwing pebbles with no idea if they were even landing. But I’ve had the joy of speaking with friends who’s lives I’ve touched. And I have no doubt they’ll enjoy speaking with friends who’s lives they’ve touched.

My joy ignites me, which ignites you, which ignites someone else, and so on.

So here’s another pebble –

I hope you throw your pebble too.
